Q: Why are you now charging for the live stream when it used to be free?
A: Back in 2023, changes to funding grant rules have made it difficult for us to cover the significant cost of broadcasting the Golden Shears event at the high level of quality expected. We had two options - to cancel the live stream completely or give viewers the opportunity to contribute a small amount to help cover the costs. We have opted for the latter and hope that people will support us so that we can continue to provide this service in the future.
Q: What distinguishes the $25 package from the $5.99 package?
A: The $25 Gold Supporters Annual Subscription allows you unlimited access to this years live stream during the event and for the rest of the year. Gold Supporters can also access previous years broadcasts back to 2020.
The $10 plan only allows you access to this years live stream during the event and for 30 days after it.
